The HOMEOWNERS
Pat and Sharon McNeil
Patrick McNeil, President and owner of McNeil Company Builders, has over 28 years of experience in commercial and residential construction with completed projects totaling over $275 million. A graduate of Gross High School, Pat completed his undergraduate course work at UNO and Creighton University before completing graduate work at Lee Evans and the Home Builder Institute.
Patrick McNeil is a member of the Young President's Organization, Merrymakers Association, Omaha Chamber of Commerce, Metro Omaha Builders Association, and National Association of Home Builders - Builder 20, among others. In his free time, Pat enjoys playing basketball, golfing, boating, skiing, scuba diving, and flying airplanes. The McNeils seek to build a better community through volunteer work and civic involvement.
Sharon McNeil is Pat's wife of 29 years; the couple has three children: Erin, Patrick, and Katie. Sharon is active in the community as a volunteer with Campfire USA Guild, YWCA fundraisers and the Children's Hospital Fund Family Service Golf Tournament. Sharon enjoys boating, golfing, playing tennis and Jazzercize.
It's not easy vacating one's home to set up temporary residence in an apartment- downsizing from thousands of feet of living space to hundreds. But the McNeil's commitment to community involvement meshes with the New Designer Showhouse commitment to community charities.
The 2008 Designer Showhouse, presented through the hospitality of Patrick and Sharon McNeil, is located at 4401 South 162nd Avenue in Omaha, Nebraska.
